A surprise performance as Alexander joins Julio Iglesias on stage in
New York to sing 'Dark eyes'.
AK is in the studio again to record 16 tracks for 'Forever', a Tribute to the Great Russian Songbook with a selection of songs dating from 1920's to the 1990's.

Today Alexander creates music from his Manhattan apartment... many miles from his childhood home in San Francisco, and an eternity from his birthplace --- a country that no longer exists, the Soviet Union.
Growing up, he absorbed himself in the music of Chet Baker, Julie London, Frank Sinatra and Oscar Strok. Inspired by the diversity of these artists, Alexander brings his own unique sound to the Jazz world.
No stranger to other genres of music, in his early twenties AK also performed as a singer/songwriter and toured the United States with his pop rock band, playing to audiences far and wide, from the small clubs of Los Angeles
to the full house at the United Nations Assembly Hall.
Alexander recently returned from London's Abbey Road Studios
where he recorded songs for his upcoming 2011 release 'Smile'.
